Hi everyone! Long time no see. I feel like it’s been ages since I’ve sat on my laptop writing a blog post. I’ve been quite busy over the past few months and I haven’t really had much time to blog unfortunately but I’m looking forward to posting blog posts more regularly now I’ve got more free time. In this blog post, I thought it would be nice to summarise my aims (in terms of this blog) for the new year. It’s always nice to look back on these sort of things and see what I have achieved.
Firstly, one of my main goals for this year is to create more meaningful blog posts. I’d like to really gage what you all would like to see and make more of your favourite content. This may mean less regular blog post but I’d really like to place emphasis this year on quality over quantity.
Secondly, I’d like to grow my Instagram fashion account that I started at the end of December and take time to work on good quality posts. I decided to create the account because as much as I LOVE fashion, it didn’t really fit with the genre of my lifestyle account so I thought it would be best to create a brand new one. So far I’ve been really enjoying it and I’d like to keep it up throughout 2020.
Another one of my aims is to post more regularly throughout 2020 on my Instagram. Although I do post fairly regularly, it is usually every other day on my Instagram. I’d really like to post daily as I think it allows me to engage with you more and creates more consistency.
Finally, this goal is probably something you’re going to notice the most on my Instagram. I’ve decided to create more flatlay and interior based content as opposed to lots of photos with me in. I’ve decided to stick to cosy movie night setups, bath posts and flatlays as they are my favourite to shoot and also seem to be quite popular. It also creates more consistency so I’m going to see how it goes!
Thank you so much to reading if you got this far! Fingers crossed I stick to these 2020 goals. I wish you all the best new year. Let me know one of your main goals for this year.
Here’s to 2020!
