Degustabox Review September 2019

October 4, 2019

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all having a great day! For today’s blog post, I thought I’d share some of the products kindly gifted to me by Degustabox. I find subscription boxes so exciting – I love that you don’t know what’s going to be in them – and the Degustabox is no exception. This month’s box had a great variety of product from risotto rice to garlic paste! In this blog post, I thought I’d share a general overview of all the products and then my 5 favourites! Let me know which product is your fav in the comments.

Price –

The Degustabox costs £12.99 including delivery and you can cancel at any time. You receive your Degustabox monthly, with 10 – 15 products in each box.

Products in the September Box –

  • Riso Gallo Risotto Rice
  • Eisberg Alcohol Free Sparkling Rose
  • Hartley’s Jelly Pots
  • Milkybar Buttons
  • Chum Fruit Bites
  • Epicure Pesto
  • Alpen Protein Bars
  • Very Lazy Garlic Paste
  • Lucozade Zero Orange/Pink Lemonade
  • Appy Kids Co Yummy Bakes
  • Boka Cereal Bars
  • Kit Kat Senses

My Top 5 Products:

Chum Fruit Bites – These were in a previous box and I absolutely LOVED them! They’re pure fruit and taste so yummy as well as being handy for on the go. They’re really filling too.

Very Lazy Garlic Paste – I LOVE garlic, be it garlic bread, garlic in pasta, garlic on pizza: I’ll have it on anything! This garlic paste is perfect for adding in when you’re cooking and adds that strong garlic taste without having to dice and chop them!

Kit Kat Senses – The chocolate products in the Degustabox are always my fav because I’m a massive chocaholic! These chocolate bars are split into three mini Kit Kats and they’re perfect for dipping into a cup of tea. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

Hartley’s Jelly Pots – I’d not had jelly for a while when I received these so I couldn’t wait to have them again. The Hartley’s jelly always reminds me of my childhood so I couldn’t wait to try. These jellies are so yummy and perfect for popping in the fridge.

Lucozade Zero Pink Lemonade – I’d never really tried Lucozade before it came in the Degustabox so I was very intrigued to try it and it was SO nice. I love the pink lemonade flavour, it’s sweet but still citrusy at the same time and a great thirst-quencher.

Overall –

I think that the Degustabox is a great way to find some new food items that you’ve not tried before and quite a lot of them haven’t even reached the shops yet! You get a good variety of store-cupboard staples and I think that the price is very reasonable compared to the number of products you receive.  I’ve discovered some new brands and food items that I’ll be repurchasing! The only downside is that you don’t have the option to customise the box, so you may have a few items that you don’t like in it.

This product was sent to me by Degustabox in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
