Degusta Box July 2019 Review

August 4, 2019

Hi everyone! It’s that time of the month again…the Degusta Box review! This month had some great products in, some of my favs being Rowntrees Randoms Sours and Greek Style Flatbreads.  This months Degusta Box theme was ‘Picnic’ themed so it was filled with a lovely variety of food perfect for snacking and grazing on.  I’ve listed my top 5 and given a review of them. Let me know which one would be your favourite!

The Degusta Box costs £12.99 including delivery and you can cancel at any time. You receive your Degusta Box monthly, with 10 – 15 products in each box. You can subscribe to the Degusta Box here.

Products in the Degusta Box –

  •  Mister Free’d Vegan Tortilla Chips with Beetroot
  • Rowntree’s Randoms Squish’ems and Sours
  • Deli Kitchen Greek Style Flatbreads
  • Frank’s RedHot Original Cayenne
  • Ravish Pineapple and Yuzu Salsa
  • Kallo Belgium Chocolate Rice Cake Minis
  • Ribena Frusion
  •  MONIN Butterscotch Coffee Syrup
  • Ape Snacks Cocunt Bites with Sesame Seed
  • Simply Cook Piri Piri Chicken 3 Step Meal Kit

My Top 5 Products:

ROWNTREES RANDOMS SOURS – I love Randoms anyway but the Random Sours are another level! They have a great sour kick to them and I love the fruit jelly inside. These are a very moreish snack.

KALLO BELGIUM CHOCOLATE RICE CAKE MINIS – These are SO good and I love the mini 4pk bags they come in. The chocolate tastes delicious and really compliments the rice cake.

DELI KITCHEN GREEK STYLE FLATBREADS – These are SO good and a very versatile too. You can use them as pizza bases and add tomato and cheese to make a delish pizza. I also used mine as a wrap and put some chicken and salad in it for a great lunch. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.

RIBENA FRUSION – Ribena isn’t a drink that I have very often so I was intrigued to try out a fizzy one. This is such a refreshing drink and perfect for summer. It is also low in calories and contains vitamin C!

SIMPLY COOK PIRI PIRI CHICKEN 3 STEP MEAL KIT – You can use this to flavour chicken, sweetcorn and potato wedges to make a full flavoursome meal. I think that this is such a cool idea and perfect to add a bit more flavour into a meal.

Overall –

I think that the Degusta Box is a great way to find some new food items that you’ve not tried before and quite a lot of them haven’t even reached the shops yet! You get a good variety of store-cupboard staples and I think that the price is very reasonable compared to the number of products you receive.  I’ve definitely discovered some new brands and food items that I’ll be repurchasing! The only downside is that you don’t have the option to customise the box, so you may have a few items that you don’t like in it.

This product was sent to me by Degustabox in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
