Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday. For todays blog post I thought I’d share 3 books that I’ve read recently and LOVED. I find that during summer I read wayyy more, mostly just because I have more time to read and also to go on holidays. This blog post is also a collab with the lovely Imaanaziz blogs. She has uploaded a blog post on her ‘Top 5 Books’ so definitely go and check out her blog(I’ll leave a link below). She blogs all about lifestyle, beauty and travel and has such a gorgeous blog.

Book 1 – Unwind
I usually find that with most books, it takes me a while to get into them but this certainly wasn’t the case with Unwind – I was gripped from the first page. With a split narrative, you follow the lives of 5 different ‘unwinds’, teenagers fleeing from being killed for their body parts or being ‘unwound’. This book gave me Hunger Game vibes and it was SO good. I’d definitely recommend this book if you like sci-fi books.
Book 2 – The Book Thief
I’d heard SO many good things about this book so I knew I had to give it a try. This historical book is set in Nazi Germany during WW2. This is such a sad but interesting book with beautiful and vivid descriptions. Although this is a fairly slow read, it’s such a lovely piece of literature about a really important time in history.
Book 3 – The Tulip Touch
This is a fast-paced, easy to read book about a girl that is new to a school making friends with an outcast ‘Tulip’ who seems very different to others in the class and tells awful lies. None of this matters to Natalie at first but soon the games become increasingly dangerous and sinister and Natalie begins to realise that maybe she has gone too far. This book questions morality and accountability and it’s such an interesting read.
