Degusta Box February Review

February 20, 2019

It’s that time of the month again – time to review the Degusta Box! Each month, Degusta Box kindly send me their food and drink subscription box in return for a review. I always get soo excited when it comes through my door each month. This month’s Degusta Box theme was ‘Degusta and Chill’ so it was all about the snacks. I’ve listed my top 5 and given a review of them. Let me know which one would be your favourite!

The Degusta Box costs £12.99 including delivery and you can cancel at any time. You receive your Degusta Box monthly, with 10 – 15 products in each box. You can subscribe to the Degusta Box here.

Products in the Degusta Box:

  • Appy Kids Co Whole Milk(you recieve 2 packs)
  • Clearspring Organic Seaveg Crispies Turmeric Multi-pack
  • Choc Chick Quinoa Pops and Plantain Bites
  • Snaffling Pig Pork Crackling(you recieve 2 flavours: Perfectly Salted/Low & Slow BBQ)
  • Deli Kitchen Folded Brioche Flatbreads
  • Explore Cuising Organic Chickpea Fusili
  • Sacla’ Reduced Fat Basil Pesto
  • Bebeto Watermelon Jelly Gums(you recieve 2 packs)
  • Orangina Original

My Top 5 Products:

Choc Chick Plantain Bites – These are made from cacao which is the unprocessed form of chocolate and is also suitable for vegans. I’m a massive chocoholic so these are the perfect guilt-free snack for if I’m craving some chocolate.

Snaffling Pig Low & Slow BBQ Pork Crackling – I love pork crackling so I was very intrigued to try these and they certainly didn’t fail to disappoint! They taste amazing and I love the BBQ flavour.

Bebeto Watermelon Jelly Gums – Watermelon sweets are my absolute favourite but I’d never tried this brand before. They are SO good and veryy moreish.

Sacla’ Reduced Fat Basil Pesto – This pesto is always in our fridge, it’s perfect for adding to pasta for a simple meal or flavouring chicken and salmon however I’d never seen the reduced fat one. This is a great, healthier alternative and I can’t tell the difference between the two!

Orangina – This is one of my favourite drinks and it always reminds me of going on holiday. It contains real citrus pulp and makes the perfect refreshing drink, especially when I add loadss of ice. DSC_0575

Overall –

I think that the Degusta Box is a great way to find some new food items that you’ve not tried before and quite a lot of them haven’t even reached the shops yet! You get a good variety of store-cupboard staples and I think that the price is very reasonable compared to the number of products you receive.  I’ve definitely discovered some new brands and food items that I’ll be repurchasing! The only downside is that you don’t have the option to customise the box, so you may have a few items that you don’t like in it.

This product was sent to me by Degustabox in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own.
