Hi everyone, I’ve been tagged to answer 10 questions all about Christmas by Nina Louise Law, a beauty, lifestyle and fashion blogger – you should definitely give her a follow. The people I’m nominating are ‘Just Being Ella‘, ‘Gracedoesblogss‘ and ‘BethLucyBlogger‘.
Weirdest family Christmas tradition?
I don’t really think we have any weird Christmas traditions but we ALWAYS watch The Snowman every Christmas Eve and I don’t watch it any other day of the year.
It’s Christmas Eve, what are you doing?
During the day, we usually walk into town to get a festive hot chocolate and do any last-minute wrapping. Just as it’s starting to get dark, me and my sister will then take Alfie on a walk to go and look at all the Christmas lights. We’ll then go to the annual Christingle Service before coming home to our dinner. In the evening, we’ll then watch The Snowman as I said previously and hang up our stockings before going to bed.
Top 3 Christmas dinner components?
Yorkshire Puddings – My absolute favourite!
Roast Potatoes – Perfect when made with goose fat and a sprinkle of salt. Yumm.
Gravy – You can’t have a Christmas dinner without gravy!
When do you decorate your house? November, the beginning of December, the week of Christmas?
Usually the first of December, if not a few days later. Basically, the first day of December that we’re all free to decorate!
Loved and loathed Christmas songs?
There are just SO many to choose from! My favourite is probably ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’ by Shakin’ Stevens but I also love ‘Santa Tell Me’ by Ariana Grande. I can honestly say that I’ve never listened to a Christmas song that I don’t like!!
One big present or lots of little things to open?
I love both! As much as I love coming downstairs to one big present, it’s also really nice to have lots of little openers.
What is your favourite Christmas decoration? (Include a photo if you have one)
I love the Christmas tree in my room. This year, I got some new twinkly lights and decorations for it and it’s so pretty.
Do you like to have a themed tree or one with a bit of everything?
We usually just had a tree where we put all our sentimental decorations and homemade baubles on it but this year we’ve got another white tree which has matching baubles.
Christmas pudding: yay or nay?
I love Christmas pudding although I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas cake.
What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?
I would love a Benefit brow kit because their brow products look AMAZING.
