BirchBox November Review

November 14, 2018

My mum has been subscribed to Birchbox for over a year and I love looking to see what she got in each box! I thought I’d do a review of her November box because I love everything about it: the design, the products and the film(The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’)!! Enjoy!

The Box Design:DSC_0244

This month, the box design was based of the new film ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms’. I think that the packaging is very festive and I love the gold copper lettering. I also find that the box that it comes in is very handy because it means you can reuse it for makeup, stationary etc.

Glamglow Instamud – This is a ’60 second pore-refining treatment’ and I was very intrigued to try it out. I love the Glamglow face masks so I was looking forward to trying this out! It contains (bentonite and kaolin clays, witch hazel, aloe vera, and licorice root) while the micro-bubbling mud activates on contact to energize and invigorate while it perfects your complexion. I left it on for a minute and my spots had reduced in size!

Wonder2 Prime and Behold – This primer is described as ‘locking color pigment and glitter to the skin for a waterproof and smudge-proof makeup look that lasts all day’. It was really nice to apply and held on my makeup for most the day. It started coming off a little bit at around 4pm but I did notice a difference from when I put makeup on without using it.DSC_0235

Polaar Polar Night Revitalizing Cream – This has a very nice texture and smell. It feels very silky when applying it and doesn’t leave my skin greasy at all! After applying it, my skin feels a lot smoother and brighter.

Spacemasks eye mask – I love eye masks – I find them so relaxing and this was no exception. It is a full size product and they’re infused with jasmine which smells amazing. The best part is that it heats up on your face which makes it even more relaxing!DSC_0241

Manna Kadar Diamond Dust Rollerball – This is a rollerball glitter that you can use on your eyes or cheeks as a highlight. I like that it’s a rollerball because it means that it’s easy to apply and there’s no need to use a brush. It’s also perfect for the festive season to add a bt of sparkle to your makeup look!
