Autumn is by far my favourite time of year: Halloween, the build up to Christmas, the weather getting colder and AW fashion. I thought I’d do an updated blog post on all of my favourite products to use during this season. I’ve got a mix between beauty, fashion, food/drink and homeware so hopefully there’s something for everyone!
Bath & Bodyworks Pumpkin Cupcake Pocketbac – I LOVE Bath & Bodyworks and I’m forever wishing that they shipped to the UK, so when my friend kindly bought this back from America, I was so happy! I love anything pumpkin scented and this is no exception. The scent lasts for ages so I’m constantly smelling of pumpkin and I’m ~definitely~ not complaining!
Baby Lips Autumn Edition Lip balm – I picked a couple of these up from Pound Stretcher last year and they’re always in my handbag! I love how autumnal they are and they’re slightly tinted whilst still keeping your lips hydrated.
The Body Shop Pumpkin Body Butter – I love The Body Shop all year round so I was so happy to see that they had released a pumpkin scented body butter!! This is really moisturising on the skin and also smells AMAZING!
Asquith and Somerset via Homesense Pumpkin Spice Bath Fizzers – I love having baths during autumn. There’s nothing better than coming home after a busy day and having a big bubble bath. I love that these are pumpkin spice scented and they also make the bath turn a lovely orange colour.
Superdrug Sugar and Spice Self Heating Mask – When I saw this in Superdrug for only 99p, I had to buy it! I love that it’s self heating and the ‘sugar and spice’ also sounds really comforting. My skin usually gets quite dry during the colder months so I always try to find time to have a little pamper every now and then.
I also love berry lips during autumn. I’ve done a blog post on my top 3 berry lips here.
Cushions – I find that during autumn, I tend to stay at home more often so I like to make sure that my bed is extra comfy and cosy during this time of year. I bought a ‘pumpkin spice’ cushion from Amazon and it looks so cute on my bed. I also have an autumn leaf cushion from Debenhams and a faux fur cushion from George at Asda and I think they all go together perfectly.
Throws/blankets – Is it even autumn if you don’t have copious amounts of throws and fluffy blankets all over your bed!? I didn’t think so. Most of my blankets/throws are from Homesense or other independent shops and I love snuggling up with them whilst watching movies.
DW Home Candles – If you’re looking for some pumpkin scented candles, then definitely visit Homesense! They have the best selection of DW home candles at a really affordable price and THEY SMELL DREAMY! I also love the packaging of them and they burn really well.
Tea – I love tea all year round and during autumn, I think there’s a great selection in the shops. I’ve been loving ‘Taylors Spiced Apple Tea’, ‘Twining’s green ginger tea’ and ‘Pukka Chai tea’. They’re all so comforting and warming, especially when it’s cold outside.
Autumnal/Halloween Mugs – If I’m having a nice spiced tea, of course I want to drink it out of a festive autumnal mug! I bought a Halloween pumpkin mug from Homesense this year and I also love my George at Asda fox mug – they’re both so cute!
Curiously Cinnamon Cereal Bars – Another spice I love throughout autumn is cinnamon. Last year, I discovered Curiously Cinnamon cereal and I loved it so when I saw these cereal bars in Pound Stretcher – I had to buy them! They’re a perfect autumnal snack for eating on the go and they taste ~almost~ as good as the cereal.
Cinammon Flavoured Chewing Gum – I love to go into American sweet shops and top up on all the pumpkin spice chewing gum/mints! I literally tastes like your eating a spiced candle(in a good way) and they’re perfect to pop into your handbag.
Slippers – A couple of years ago, I picked up a pair of fox slippers form Tesco and they’re the cutest thing I have ever seen! There so cosy and perfect for wearing around the house so you don’t get cold feet!
Primark Over The Knee Socks – These look so cute in autumn and are really cosy to wear too!
Scarves – There’s nothing better than wrapping up in scarves and about 2345 layers to go on a cold autumnal walk and I think scarves can be a great addition to an outfit too!
Cosy pyjamas – I love getting autumnal pajamas and it’s become a bit of a tradition to buy a new pair of festive pjs every year! This year, I bought a really cute pair of Halloween pajamas from Primark that say ‘Too Cute to Spook’. I also spotted gorgeous pair of pajamas in Tu at Sainsbury’s last week which I ~might~ have to treat myself to next time I pop in!
Thank you for reading and I’m sorry for the amount of times I said ‘autumn’ during this blog post! I hope you’re all as excited as I am for cosy nights in watching Hocus Pocus and everything pumpkin spice.
