I love reading especially when it’s one of those books that you can’t put down! I’ve recently been reading quite a few good books so I thought I’d share them with you. Whilst my fav genres are psychological thrillers and murder mysteries, I’ve been reading quite a few different genres and I’ve really enjoyed them. Here are 3 good books that I couldn’t put down!
Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine – Although this book starts of quite slow, it starts to reveal more and more about Eleanor’s past and her life. I LOVE the way that it’s written, it’s very witty and smart. I also found it very interesting to learn and find out more about Eleanor’s character. It’s a very different book and that’s why I like it.
Eleanor Oliphant leads a simple life. She wears the same clothes to work every day, eats the same meal deal for lunch every day and buys the same two bottles of vodka to drink every weekend.
Eleanor Oliphant is happy. Nothing is missing from her carefully timetabled life. Except, sometimes, everything.
One simple act of kindness is about to shatter the walls Eleanor has built around herself. Now she must learn how to navigate the world that everyone else seems to take for granted while searching for the courage to face the dark corners she’s avoided all her life.
Not If I See You First – I found that this book was a real eye-opener and interesting to learn about the life and daily struggles of a blind person. Whilst this wasn’t one of those books-that-you-cannot-put-down, it’s a cosy read and perfect for reading a chapter or two before you go to bed. It also has braille on the front cover which I thought was really cool!
Parker Grant doesn’t need perfect vision to see right through you. That’s why she created the Rules: Don’t treat her any differently just because she’s blind, and never take advantage. There will be no second chances.I absolutely LOVED this book and read it in 2 days. It’s one of those books that you cannot put down and it’s filled with twists and turns. I love the setting of this book and it’s very dark and twisted. It’s very psychological and really got me thinking after reading it. If you like series like Gossip Girl and PLL than this is the perfect book! I would 100% recommend.
