🎄Day 11 of 12 days of RebeccaRose🎄
When the weather starts to get a bit colder and your skin a bit drier I like to have more pamper evenings and look after my skin a bit more. There’s nothing better than watching a Christmas film with moisturised skin and freshly painted nails. In December, I like to make pamper evenings a bit more of a regular occurrence and make it a bit more festive. I thought I’d talk you through what I like to do to pamper myself in December. It’s so nice to take a bit of time out from the busy season and relax.
First, I like to run a bath and get my bedroom ready by lighting a few candles. I also like to switch some fairy lights so my room is cosy for when I get out of the bath. I then like to get out all the products I’m going to use. Here is a list of the products I used this time:
Spiced Apple Shower Gel|Body Shop – I love using this purely because of the fresh but festive scent that it has. The scent lasts for a while after using it so you don’t even need to use perfume!
Lush Santa Baby Lip Scrub – I love the Lush lip scrubs anyway but when I saw a Christmas version I couldn’t resist! It smells of cherries and coconut and is an acquired taste but I LOVE it.
Lush Luxury Lush Pud – This was my bath bomb of choice last night because I love how it makes the bath look. It explodes with colour and leaves the bath pink and yellow. It is also very moisturising and leaves your skin feeling silky smooth.
Lush Magic of Christmas – Every year I never fail to buy this bubble bar. It makes a brilliant bubble bath and has the most amazing smell. It also makes your skin really smooth and silky afterwards.
Baylis & Harding Beauticology Body Lotion – I was immediately drawn to this set because of the festive, sparkly colours. It smells AMAZING, like Christmas in a jar, and I’ve been using it all December.
Tanya Burr Nail Varnish and Glitter(similar) – I got these two in an advent calendar last year and I’ve been using them all year round.
When I get out the bath, I like to get myself a drink and snack. I went for a Snowball tea from BlueBird Tea and a mince pie. I then get into my pyjamas, Christmassy of course! I’ve been wearing a pair of Cath Kidston pjs and they’re so soft. I like to do a face mask and moisturise and exfoliate my skin and lips. After that, I pop on some cosy sock and watch a Christmas film or vlogmas with my snack and relax. I try to have an early night and read a book so I feel refreshed for the day ahead!
