1. Dynasty

This reboot of the iconic TV series follows two wealthy families settled in America and how they leverage control over their familes and the lives of their children. This is the perfect series if you liked Gossip Girl.

2. Dead To Me

Dead to Me is about a powerful but quirky friendship that blossoms between Jen, a tightly wound widow, and Judy, a free spirit with a shocking secret. This show is perfect for if you like a bit of dark humour and has SO many twists and turns in it.

3. The Society

The Society follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town, left without any trace of their parents. This is essential like a darker, more twisted version of The Sparticle Mystery and I found it so interesting. I can’t wait for a new season to be released!

4. You

I started watching this mainly because Penn Badgley(Dan Humphry in Gossip Girl) was in it and I LOVED it. This psycholgical thriller features an obsessive yet brilliant New Yorker(Penn Badgley), who exploits today’s technology to win the heart of Beck (Elizabeth Lail) amid the growing suspicions of her best friend Peach.

5. The Bodyguard

Although this is originally a BBC series, it recently came on Netflix and I started watching it. The series is based in London and centres around various terrorist attacks taking place. Throughout the series, you begin to learn more about the main character David Budd, a heroic but volatile war veteran working as a Protection Officer for the foreign secretary, and his past.

6. Insatiable

This American black comedy-drama is quite a weird series but as I started watching for episodes, I really got into it. The show’s based around a disgraced, dissatisfied civil lawyer-turned-beauty pageant coach takes on a vengeful, bullied teenager as his client and has no idea what he’s about to unleash upon the world.

7. Lunatics –

Lunatics is a funny, mockumentary series that explores the lives and narrative of six different characters, all played by one actor. Perfect for a bit of light-hearted entertainment that you don’t have to pay too much attention to to follow the plot.
