Hi everyone! I’ve not shared my skincare routine in quite a while and its changed quite a lot since my last blog post so I thought I’d share an updated version. I don’t always use the exact same products every night, I find that my skin actually gets better when I change it up which is why I’ve included a few variations of each step. I like to keep my skincare routine relatively simple and it has taken me quite a while to really strip it back and only use absolute essentials. For context, I have normal to dry skin with the occasional spots on my t-zone.

Makeup Remover – Although I don’t wear makeup daily, on days where I do, I always use the Dermologica Precleanse , I find this literally melts of my makeup so easily and even takes of all my mascara(which has always taken me the longest to get off when using other makeup removers). This is an oil based formula and suprisingly, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy AT ALL and leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated.
For cleanser, I use a variation between two different ones: the Pixi Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel and the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. I’ve been using the Liz Earle Cleanser for over a year and it’s such a holy grail product for me. It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and clean after using and it also smells heavenly. The Pixi Glow Tonic Cleansing Gel is a relatively recent discovery for me and it’s so different to my normal cleaners. It has a thinner, wetter consistency and leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated afterwards.
I always use the Pixi Glow Tonic after cleansing to tone my skin. I apply it all over my face using a cotton wool pad and it really brightens my skin and leaves it with a nice glow.
I don’t use these products every night, probably around 1 -3 times a week, or whenever I think my skin needs a bit of a boost. The Dermologica Daily MicroFoliant is perfect for exfoliating my skin and my skin feels sooo soft and smooth after using it. The Formula Radiance Reveal Peel is one of my favourite products and it’s so cool to apply. You rub it into your skin and then it starts to peel away, leaving my skin feeling softer and brighter.
Finally, I apply some moisturiser. I’ve been using the Nivea Soft Moisturiser for at least 5 years and it’s absolutely amazing. It’s so simple but really hydrates and moisturises my skin. It’s SO affordable and also smells amazing.
